Per Lindvall

How many of you have heard of the Swedish drummer Per Lindvall!
I think he is the greatest drummer
alive ( i kid not) and he is from Sweden [img]smile.gif[/img]
Some weeks ago i read in a magazine that he loost a finger in a accident.
Anybody have any information regarding that?

Just looked him up on Google, and hey...he drummed for ABBA! Always wondered who the studio guys were with ABBA.

I don't know that I've ever heard of him. What else has he done other than ABBA? Do you have something representative of his talents you could post for us to check out? Thanks,

Just coming back home...

Per Lindvall is a great great drummer/musician, you could hear it with Michael Ruff, Glenn Scott and with A-ha...
I'm really crazy about his drumming !!!

He did a great job with A-ha, check a live cd named "How Can I Sleep With Your Voice In My Head".
Nice tittle isn't it...
And there is a dvd too with A-ha.

Well I gonna try to see what's happen with the finger's story, my God I hope that's it's not true !!!

A producer told me that Per Lindvall joined ABBA at the age of 13 and toured with them from that till they defuncted.

Lemme get some serverspace and upload som of his Deep Pocketplaying from a liverecording of a Danish Popsinger called Sanne Salomonsen. Him and a Danish Bassplayer Lars Danielson ( He played with Bill Maxwell!!!!!!!! ) are just one of the best combo's for contemporary pop gigs, they've done all major Scandinavian Names for their tour and mostly sessioning too.

I'm very happy that this Drummer got up here on HOD because his one of Scandinavia's greatest drummers.

And concerning the Finger Accident? i really hope it's just a rumour, maybe we could mail Yamaha in Denmark or Sweden, they may have more info?

Well, Per started to touring when he was 13, but he recorded with ABBA for the first time when he was 21 (Super Trouper's session, october 1980).

I'm waiting news from him and I will let you know what's happen with him...

Guys, here is some perspective:

If Rick Allen can play with ONE ARM, then surely this Swedish great can play with one finger missing!
